Mahboob Khan
Chief Executive Officer, JENOA

With more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Mahboob joined Abdul Latif Jameel in 2015, and spent his first four years with the Company based in its headquarters in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, before relocating to London, UK to set up the JENOA office.

Starting his career working with a number of Fortune 500 companies in the US, Europe and Far East, he has a varied background which has stood him in good stead for leading the team at JENOA. Mahboob has previously worked as a Property & Special Risks Underwriter, Underwriting Technical Specialist, Global Client Services Manager, and Corporate Risk & Insurance Manager.

Throughout this time, he has covered a breadth of insurance lines, including P&C, Marine, Energy, Automotive, and Special High Challenge Occupancies. He is also specialised in Loss Prevention Engineering and Risk Consulting.

He has previously been based in several international locations including Boston, Paris, Frankfurt and Jeddah. Mahboob holds a degree in Economics and a MBA (Management) from the University of Leicester, UK

Yuka Wakiyama-McDonnell
Key Client Advisor
JENOA

With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, Yuka joined JENOA in 2022, to focus on our renewable energy and property businesses.

She began her career with an international broker in Latin America working with leading European and Japanese multinationals. This was followed by various roles with a leading US insurer, based in the UK, working extensively with Fortune 500 companies on their international (or multinational) programmes, notably in the property, complex risk, chemical and renewable energy sectors.

Yuka holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of São Paulo, Brazil and an International MBA from IEDE Business School in Madrid, Spain. She is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish and Japanese.

Brian Armstrong
Senior Broker – Specialty Reinsurance
JENOA

With more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Brian joined JENOA in 2022, and is based in the London office.

During his career Brian has worked in various product classes with a number of UK Insurance companies and Lloyd’s syndicates, including Accident & Health, Motor Ancillary, Creditor and Affinity. He has a breath of experience across underwriting, business development and portfolio management. Latterly he has focused on working with MGA’s on consumer products, globally.

Brian will lead the Specialty products area at JENOA with a specific focus on Mobility Solutions.

Brian holds a degree in Business and Psychology from the University of Surrey, along with a Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Muhammad Adnan Khurshid
Finance Director
JENOA

With more than 17 years of experience, Adnan joined JENOA in 2022 as our Finance Director.

He began his career at Ernst & Young Global, in Transaction Advisory & Assurance services, overseeing M&A, corporate valuations, due diligence, and other advisory services. With his background in finance and investment, complemented by his expertise in the insurance and reinsurance industry, Adnan is uniquely positioned to provide invaluable insights and advice to companies operating in this space.

Adnan has had a long association with Abdul Latif Jameel, in leadership roles across Corporate Finance, Strategic Planning, Investments, Business Development and Funds Management. 

Adnan holds MBA in Finance an Investment from Brunel University London, a BSc (Hons) in Finance from Oxford Brooks University UK. and is chartered as FCCA (UK), ACMA (UK) and CFA LIII (USA).
